PAPER LANTERNS WITH PIZZAZZ!

Paper lanterns are fantastic decorative elements to add to your wedding — or any party for that matter! You can use them as centerpieces for your table, line them up on a walkway to welcome guests, or hang them in areas where you want overhead décor. It's eye candy that can be used in so many different ways!

This week we took the paper lantern one step further by customizing it to fit a whimsical wedding. We added daisy stickers that came from Martha Stewart: Crafts. The daisies are perfect for a spring or summer wedding and you can find many colors of lanterns to fit better with your color palette. Our combined time to create the blue daisy lantern was five minutes... it just doesn't get any easier than that!

If you are looking to put a little bling in your wedding décor, you may like our yellow lantern that is adorned with Swarovski crystal and paper confetti flowers. It took us about 45 minutes to adorn the yellow lantern with all its accoutrements, but the process was extremely simple. Just buy the lantern, purchase the confetti shapes you like (this version uses the Prima Marketing flower confetti), and find the Swarovski crystals or even glass rhinestones that suit your design. Lastly, break out your tube of Elmer's paper glue and design away.
